The Summer Outreach Program & The Bayani Community Health and Wellness Center
On Flag Day, June 14, 2021, the E.R.B. Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, is launching the Summer Outreach Program for the new Bayani Community Health and Wellness Center.
The Purpose of The Summer Outreach Program
What is Happening in My Community?
The first question is, what's happening in my community? For one and a half years, our world stood still. We retreated to our quarters, were made to wear masks, and observed social distancing. We had an invisible enemy that made people deathly ill. And by today's numbers, we lost more than 600,000 Americans, surpassing the casualties of all who died in American wars in our history.
Is This Virus Going Away?
Is this virus going away? We see a trend in the number of cases, the number of hospitalizations, and the number of deaths going down. This is a big step due to the vaccination drive, the masks, and social distancing.
However, the virus is still alive and kicking. If we let go of the precautions and refuse the vaccination, we see spurts of surges. For as long as we haven't reached the goal of a 75% vaccination rate, we are still subject to the spread of the virus.
Let us enter into a proactive approach to preventing the pandemic risks.
Join Our New Summer Outreach Program
The E.R.B. Foundation has launched the Summer Outreach Program, which is a door-to-door campaign of letting our neighbors know how to access resources and referrals when a need arises. More importantly, establishing our support system in the community.
We need volunteers to do the door-to-door campaign and bring the support and network in a phone call or online. Call 310-835-8365. We need to talk. There is no other way we can be of assistance until you tell us what you need.
The Bayani Community Health and Wellness Center is a referral and resource center. Donate and we can reach out to more of the constituents in our community who are in need and are under the radar. Volunteers needed are 16 years and over.
The one quality we are looking for in a volunteer is:
WE CARE to feed our hungry
WE CARE to heal our sick
WE CARE to teach our young
WE CARE to honor our Veterans
